I stumbled across your blog today, and it helped me learn more about myself. For one thing, I finally discovered where I lie on the political spectrum (I'm left-leaning, we shouldn't judge or kill people for things out of their control). And another thing... OK, so a little backstory: I discovered Warriors (or Warrior Cats, or WC, whatever you want to call it) when I was 9, and since then I went through a years-long phase of being obsessed with cats (and the series itself even though I only really got the chance to read 3 and 1/2 of the books, those being Mapleshade's Vengeance, The Rise of Scourge, Into the Wild, and about half of Fire and Ice, which I am currently reading). And after all the pain I've been dealt from being trapped in my house because of COVID, and all of the violent and graphic videos I watched to pass the time (a lot of which were videos having to do with WC), last year I declared that I was sick of loving cats and tried to find other animals (or literally anything else lol) to become interested in, but for some reason I just couldn't. Up until recently, when I got over my fear of WC and decided to start reading the entire series. And that's when I realized... that what I was looking for, that special interest, had been right in front of me the whole time. It's cats. Everything to do with cats. Yeah, it's true- I'm a cat lover! And there's nothing anyone can do about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm interested in other animals as well, but I just find it easier to love cats because I have lots of opportunities to actually interact with them in the real world; at the local animal shelter, at a friend's or relative's house, just outside in general, you name it! On the other hand... psh, good luck trying to catch me petting a dolphin when I'm several hundred kilometres away from anywhere I could find them (fun fact: dolphins used to be my favourite animal when I was around 8, even though I've never actually seen one in person. I have seen sea lions, though). But anyways. The Internet can be awesome if you actually know what you're doing! So thanks, Kim, for making this website so I could randomly stumble across it one day and learn t Goodbye!
